Essex lanes

Can someone with a disco, pop theyre bonnet and see where the earth strap goes. One end is on the battery, other end is on the chassis, but wheres the connector in the middle of that lead bolt to?

Got 1 from batt to panard lump of steel mounting point.. the 1 from there to engine. Other side has 1 from engine to wing n coil

On the inner wing just in front of the battery box on mine, if I'm looking at the right one. That's looking at it from the front.

That's the braided one that goes from the chassis to near where the starter motor is

On the panel you removed to fit the tubing.

Anyone after a Disco? Think I might sell mine after I've done the cam belt in a couples of weeks.

Been offered a 65000 mile ? 200 tdi engine with all ancillaries, gearbox T.box exhaust rad and intercooler for £350. I think its an OK price, drop T.box in to the Fender and rest into the S2 (maybe not gearbox). Thought I might get a few quid back on the 2 1/4 lump. Opinions, all you that have broken discos, Dan, Brian etc.

About the going rate fella if its a Disco one. If its a fender one then its a bargain!

I haven't got a broken disco any more. Bloody cheek.

Sounds good! I normally do engine and boxes for £450 for a good one down to £200 minimum if they're ****. So sounds going rate for an ok one.

While it is all out do the seals and also re-seal the sumps.

Anyone help me with this???

MOT due now, it should pass, and if it does will want £1500 for it.

ES model with electric seats and Grey Leather.

2" Lift fitted last year, AT Tyres, Southdown Snorkle, Just Serviced with new cambelt fitted.

Scruffy and used, but not too bad and comfortable to drive.

I am just so skint and in debt, in reality I cant afford to keep it.
