Hello peoples hope you are all well.... I am hopefully back, after a really ****ty few months, what with dioivce hassles, girlfriend problems, mum being in hospital for about three months, hopefully catch up soon, hope i have not missed much...

Thanks for your time today Matt, it's much appreciated.

Nick, it was great to see and catch up with you today, and be introduced to the two new members to your family, can wait to see the work start on Bunny...

Put the new turbo on found one of the pipes have de laminated, so will be getting new ones, had some minor problems with studs, and a few little power cuts but hey got the job done, looks like the Intercooler has mad a whole lot of difference as well, the old one was just one block of dried mud and had about, 3mm of thick black gunk inside so will clean that one out as well.

hopefully the parts will cure my loss of power problem that crops up intermittently.

Helpfully catch up with a few of you guys in the next month or so, and get back on the greenlaning/off roading scene.

No worries mate, was good to catch up. Hopefully get some laning organised soon.

How was Bures today? Kept thinking what a great day for playing in the mud.
I really am starting to hate DIY constant drains on my time and money.

Brian will have to pass on tranny box for now, not in a position to help in removal my back is still fecked, couldn't even get in Landy to go to Bures today.

I know what you mean.

We spent ages painting the living room ourselves but it looks great, the decorator did the hallways and not anywhere near as good.

Live and learn. Had another back to quote on the hallway and he was gobsmacked at the lounge! We are currently seeking legal advice about it as the decorators arent calling us back. Also got a guy coming tuesday to extend the drive. Something i couldve easily done but for the cost it werent worth getting dirty for!

yeah it will be in the new year now, I busy trying to catch up with things up to xmas, then Xmas week got a couple of nights planed wild camping, under a tarp with a couple of my mates, so not a lot of time there.

Two years ago I would have agreed, but things are a little tighter now, so every £100 saved on an expert, is a £100 to spend on something more fun (like a winch bumper :D ).
But I do have a builder friend helping me lay the new floor next weekend. Anything thats within my capabilities I do myself, i just moan like fook about it :D

I used to use a local decorator called David Hill, always did a great job, not sure how far he travels? Hope you get it sorted.

Well the correct turbo arrived today, all bolted on with no issues, well except one stud ripping out the thread on the manifold but a quick helicoil sorted that. Am tempted to turn the boost up a bit now but seeing as we may have snow soon and I will be doing 40+ miles a day in it as well as recoverys I suppose some sort of fuel economy would be nice...

So whens the next laning trip? Been a while since I have done any...
