Thanks for offer this weekend, but I'm taking some more sold bits off this Disco and more building work in the garden

I do have a big list of todo's before Wales.
Main items:
Recovery points
sort out the violent shaking when i hit 50 mph (only since i fitted the 265/70/16's).
Snorkel
Ext breathers.
Fit the CB radio.
Get the temp gauge working.
Would like to get the ext dampers / dislocation cones, but i doubt thats going to happen.

All booked up, the owners on holiday at the moment so just waiting to see what the deposit will be. It sleeps 9/10 but this includes two double beds and there are 9 going ?

Before I bite the bullet and spend £50 on a hi lift jack - does anyone have one they want to sell me?
(Geoff - I've asked my farmer if he had one he wanted to give me with the waffle boards and he said "No" lol) - sorry I said I would buy your waffle boards and then got some for free

Hahaha! Ouch - you know what these farmer folk are like! (No one seems to know where/what has happened to the big fella!

I just brought one off fleabay! (£25) second hand of course, but it's only gonna be used if I get a flat tyre, if I'm out on my own! (When I'm with you guys - I'll get someone else to change it for me

I will be there on wednesday, I have downloaded the walews maps and been looking at the lanes, there not as easy to spot as they are over here...

Well deal has been done and the Disco will soon have a new owner in exchange for a very tidy MK3 Golf GTi Colour Concept

Part of the deal is I change the head gasket for him and I have a question on that.
Do I need to remove the valves on the 300tdi head to have it skimmed or can I get away with just the glow plugs?

Valves out, the run proud of the head iirc, towlers will do it for you though...
