Got abit done today, intercooler is mounted and piped up and moved rad over to middle, tommorow i have to plumb in rad and air box and fit boost valve then I shall be having a play with it and see what happens

What a day!!

Collect my new discovery 3 HSE and now got a 200tdi for my defender ready to fit also discs going on the rear etc!!! What a result!!! But sad bit is without the defender for bit longer ;(

Looking good ian, I am gonna see what difference it makes on yours and I might be interested in doing something similar! Your gonna want a rad muff though for when doing the muddy stuff

How about arranging something for next Sunday? Gives everyone a little over a week to get their motors ready

The chap who collected the dog guard runs a 4x4 site nr Sudbury.
Minimum of three vehicles, think he said £10 per vehicle and then he opens the site.

That could be the site mission4x4 rounds were at, there are some very steep climbs there, would be a good day out not sure you could amuse yourself there allday though.

That's funny cos I got some tyres off him about 2 months ago.
I've been over there when they had a comp on. As James said some BIG holes/hills.

Yeah i went to a winch challenge there. Immense terrain but not for the faint hearted!

A small box turned up today. Thats what £300 gets you for the bulkhead, and why its taking so long to build

I am laning tomorrow if anyone wants to come along, meeting a mate at balkern gate in Colchester at mid day and then going on towards Braintree way and over towards Sudbury if you want to join?

Will give you a call mate I might come if I can get out of family plans

Got the intercooler all finished off today running 15.5 psi so just over 1 bar sounds really nice proper whistles and defo an improvement in mid range power just got to play with the fuel pump now

Good question that, seem to be selling for £15 - £30 on fleebay. Don't suppose you know what it's rated to?
