That spigot end wants a rub back with light emery an dunked in grease like i did with that Disco box i bought off you
I'd be more worried about the fact that it has grooves worn in it where it goes in the spigot bush. Maybe a former bush has broken up and been scraping on it. Clean it up, put it back together with a new bush and hopefully it'll be OK though.

no it will be fine ,they all tend to be like thatIt’ll get a new bush. Any likely long term issues?
Oh yeh, I’d forgotten about that. Have you done anything with it?
I've removed the bellhousing as that has to go off to be 3D scanned as part of another project, I got as far as getting strapped onto a pallet and moved to my lock and store room ready for the day I send it away for a rebuild, but for now it's keeping my rear seats for the Discovery company along with a load of other stuff LOL
Hope you've not forgotten my open invitation North of the border lol
The rod is held on with a little clip. How is the rod attached to the clutch fork? Going to change the rod as its pitted and a bit rusty. Do I have to take the whole clutch fork off? Also how can you tell if its a HD fork?
The rod is held on with a little clip.
An HD fork has an extra piece of metal welded across the back of the pivot point.

Roll your mouse over the image. The black plastic thing, with the hole in the middle, at the bottom of the picture, is the push rod clip. Look carefully and you can see two little plastic pegs sticking out of it. Now look at the narrow end of the clutch fork. You can see the hollow that the ball of the push rod sits in and to the right of that you might just be able to make out a dark, narrow slot. The two plastic pegs of the push rod clip slot in to there and this enables the clip to hold the push rod in to that hollow.
Yes, the rectangular bit across the middle, welded along the ends. That makes sense. Thanks. Is the bit of metal you mentioned on HD fork bit you can see in that photo?
Go the whole hog and get it ceramic coated
No, I didn't. Sorry, I thought you'd realise that and so I was trying to be funny. FailedIs that what you’ve done? How does one get something ceramic coated?

High performance manifolds can be ceramic coated I think. This creates a faster, more efficient, flow of exhaust gases. Not needed for Trattors. Not sure how many paints are available that withstand the temperatures, heating/cooling etc
