Electrical Questions ( Rr 96 Hse 4.6 )

Hi .
The Switch On The Dashboard ( Rr 1996 4.6 Hse ) , Between The Air Suspention Level And The Sos Switch , There Is , I Think , A Tyre On It , Is It What For ?
- Does The Switches Controls Of The Mirrors Light On When The Lighting Switch Is Turned On ?
- Does The Speed Mode Switch ( Sport Mode ) Next To The Gear Box Light On Red Light Just When The Sport Mode Is Activated Or It Light On Too With The Lighting Switch ??

Hi there
The button with the round "Tyre" shape is for manually locking the car in Low height setting....If you lower the car to "Access" mode (Lowest suspension setting) then press the switch,You should hear a beep and it will lock the vehicle in the slowest position..I think its used for creeping under height restrictions etc as im sure you can only drive at 10MPH with it On...(not sure if it works on the highest setting?)
(( Can also be used for slow moving in traffic,when you've fitted 22" wheels,to make ya RR look like impressive!! ))
The Mirror adjustment switch does NOT have a light in it that comes on with the sidelights.
The Sport Mode button has a red light in to show "Sport " selected,,but i dont think it lights up with sidelights..Maybe i'll be corrected?

You are right, the "Sport Mode", does not light up other than when "Sport" selected.
i.e not back lit.
