That's not OK, set the alarm option to disabled and the disarm to "always with key" .... which you said it's so but seems it isnt

according to your photo is "key never" so as long as the fob doesnt work every time you use the key it goes to immobilised status.... i insist with serenity and pls no offence....... but RTFM
No offence taken……I think 😁
What’s RTFM by the way ?

PS……I did say I’m electronic dyslexic 😁
That’s what this forum is great for…..we all help others where we are strong and they are weak (in this instance and in my case…clueless)

...:)... RTFM = READ THE F**KING MANUAL :stars:
Ok…I f*ckin will 😁😁👍
In the meantime, I have been out and set as below.
Thank you as always for your help…..and patience 🫣

😁😁😁 Is that Nanocoms F*cking Manual 😜
Trust me. I plan to download and print off the manual asap 👍
Something I have always wondered. Why can’t electrical peeps not use the Kings English ?? I price up construction work in my job and part of it is electrical installations. It is so bloody frustrating when they use words I’ve never heard of, and when it’s explained to you…..it’s a switch !!! It’s the same in electronics. Why not just keep it simple for simple folks like me. Anyway….that’s my (hopefully) semi-humorous rant over 😁

Is anyone else having problems getting an EKA code for a Series 2 Discovery? Our's has been stationary for nearly a month now and the local dealership don't seem to be able to get hold of it. Any advice on how we can get it greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum @LouPoo1
You can obtain or change the 4-digit EKA code on a Disco 2 with a Land Rover specific diagnostic tool.

Whereabouts are you located? Maybe someone local to you can help you out.

Thanks JUKE179r
I live in Chesterfield. Presumably Our local dealership doesn't have one since we're still waiting for the code. Does anyone know of anywhere localish?

If you need the EKA code to remobilise the vehicle no diagnostic tool will help cos the BCU doesnt communicate with it while it's immobilised, you can get it for money but if the BCU or the code was changed at a time before it can be wasted money, you can risk it or not https://www.car-keys-online.com/land-rover-eka-code.html ... though if it's not immobilised and you just want to know the code then nanocom can help
