I have two numbers written with the info I got with my 99 p38; both say they are EKA numbers
One is 1434, the other is 2564 ( I have jumbled both); is the second one possible, I thought the codes did not go above 5 ?

EKA code is four numbers between 1 and 6 all cannot be the same. So 1434, 2564 are good codes. Only one will apply to your car. Maybe the BECM has been changed.
