Easter North Wales laning weekend 03/04 - 05/04

I'll be organizing a laning trip to North Wales this coming Easter...a bit on the short notice I know. Am thinking of covering Denbigh, Ruthin & Betws area.

I'll start on sat 9am from Prestatyn through Denbigh & Ruthin. Then will be camping near Betws area. Sunday to explore Betws area, then back to the camp site. A little more laning on Monday before heading back around lunch time.

There are 2 options on camping: can either do wild camp or go to a proper campsite. I am easy on this.

WARNING:
there will be at least 1 lane that is very scratchy on the paint job and at least 1 lane that is not suitable for vehicle fitted with roof rack.


Am setting a maximum of 5 vehicles.
 
There are quite a few that are quite scratchy in that area, now where the one that is not safe for a roof rack?

Just had a PM on another forum, they have a few groups out in that area that weekend. Based out of Bala.

yeah...think thats the one you mentioned......need to check it out...

we did the route last May....and am doing again this Easter as a recce trip for the group's meet in May again....
 
Can you put me down too please. I should be able to get the time off work or something (and the car back on the road!)
 
we've got 5 vehicles confirmed with the 6th in the pipe line.

That's the max I will go with at the moment.

Will post update here if there's anyone dropping out.

Nice pics! Many thanks to Kingson for putting this together and good luck on the trip home with that gearbox.... It was my first time out with the new Disco, totally standard. I didn't think the bumper/spoiler would last too long but its a £0 mod tomorrow. Once this is sorted, it should be a little bit less likely to self-destruct or anything fall off. Was surprised how well it went on road tyres (well, two of them are All Terrains) so I'll buy a little more time before deciding which way to go with off road tyres.

I only took a couple of pics and they're all off people being stuck. But here they are anyway, and the videos.
