Hi all,
While returning from a weekend away with the caravan I'm afraid I jinxed myself. I had only just sung the Rangies praises for another faultless holiday when EAS fault displayed briefly, the height indicator told me I was on full extension, the ride height indicator lights all started flashing and then settled down to constant illumination. I must admit I had forgotten to press the 'inhibit' button if that's the reason.
Car is a 2000 4.0 if that makes any difference.

Any ideas please.

Height sensor moved out of it's normal range. Have you got the slow 35mph message? If not, did the fault clear when you switched off and restarted?
If you have the slow 35 message it's a hard fault that will need diagnostics to reset.

Plug in your putor, run software and clear any faults. You have, HOPEFULLY, just taken one of the height sensors out of limits. I am assuming that you have the software and cable, if not PM Datatec.:)

Thanks both for your replies. The fault did clear itself when I restarted in the morning. There was no ' slow 35mph' message.

Do you think the height sensor went out of range because I had not used the inhibit button?

Good to hear it was a soft fault. If the caravan was well loaded there may have been enough weight on the nose to cause a greater range of movement than normal in the suspension taking a sensor into an area of track that was dirty.
