P38A EAS fault that I am unable to diagnose with certainty

thank you, I will have a proper look over the weekend. Do you think it is worthwhile buying a nanocom for the P38? I would like to keep it for a while, although the cost is a fair bit
Nanocom is worth its weight in gold for a P38 owner. Though for EAS systems you can download the free RSW software and buy a cable to talk to the car.
 
I've replaced 3 out of 4 bags... last one to do either today or tomorrow. First time I've done anything like this and relatively straightforward.

Anyway, the car was still on its original bags from 1994/1995. They were properly perished.

They seem to have held air ok, but who knows for sure. I did find the car with the rear right down once ages ago. And at times I thought it looked tilted to one side.

I once had a set like that. Fortunately now I don't:D

No, they've been changed at least once, if not twice.
 
I'm amazed they lasted that long. That's way past their intended life-span.
Yes, I didn't expect them to be original. I don't have much service history but it has only done 51k kilometres since new. The shocks need replacing so that is next on my list. I overhauled the compressor today with a kit from X8R and the difference is as clear as night and day. Before it would sometimes rise quickly, other times it would take ages. Now it feels almost instant in comparison. The old piston seal had a visible gap. I wonder whether the old bags and worn seal may have been the cause of the original error. I will monitor it for while and see whether the driver pack needs replacing.

Remove the silencer from the eas block you can hear its activity while your using your car;)
 
Ok, original fault is back. As before intermittent.

However, since reconditioning the compressor it is working better and now it is clear the front raises and lowers intermittently. I noticed it when stationary and at idle. Didn't throw up a fault at this time though, fault only comes up within about a minute after ignition and perhaps only 1/10 times

Soooo, can this be driver pack related or a faulty sensor? I have a replacement driver pack but not convinced it is new.
