Same with mine..My pump keeps cutting in as soon as pressure drops.
It runs for 5 second intervals every 2 minutes..
And yes i have counted.

Exactly what I expect to happen, but clearly not !! I suspect the switch internals have become weak over time, hence it closes early which very little hysteresis. New switch ordered, which I will test before fitting to car.The pressure switch should provide a window between off and on of around 35 PSI. So if the compressor switches off at 150 PSI it should start up again as the pressure falls to 115 PSI or below. This may vary there maybe a slightly larger or smaller window switch to switch.

Is that controlled by the switch or the EAS ECU?
Does it do it with the relay removed?I think my P38 is menopausal. Previously it's been rising overnight, then last week dropping down, then Sun-Mon it stayed up overnight & all day. This morning the rear right was very low again. Can't find any leaks, so I think it's just trying to mislead me !!

Delay relay not operational when parked, because I have a separate ignition switched relay inline with F24 that removes all power to EAS. Did it this way so I can keep the delay relay installed so diagnostics work without me swapping relays.Does it do it with the relay removed?
If not, it could be a dodgy height sensor giving spurious readings.
Wine cannot be compressed but the wind it causes can. Is that what you mean? There seems to be some confusion here between Hydrolics and pnewmatics or is it the wine/
Drybolicks?I didn't mention "Hydrolics", unless you consider the menopause to be non-compressible ?
not in this weatherDrybolicks?
