I got the free download a while back and made up the cable for that (pretty straightforward) but that only covers the suspension. I need to sus out how it talks to the other things. In particular the Hevac. I've an issue with that I was hoping to look at with it. If it's just another cable I have no issue making it myself but I don't have a pinout for it and looking at the ODB pinout there's no direct Hevac rs232 so I'm guessing canbus
Maybe the hardware will turn up but I'm not getting any response from my emails so not holding out much hope.
it doesn't because he needs the micro controller built into the OBD connector.The Nanocom website on the Blackbox Solutions website has what each pin does. Whether that helps or not I don't know.

I run V4 of the RSW software on a Windows 11 HP tablet that I bought on eBay for £75. It works with the HP OTG USB adaptor connected to the special cable that I received in the post from Storey Wilson. There are a couple of LEDs in the socket that plugs into that ODB socket. These light up when connected with one red & one green.According to the storey Wilson site the v4 now does some other diag too, not nearly as much as the nanocom but more than just eas. It is 180 quid though.
Turn off the EKA feature.All sorted now. Replacement interface cable for the RSW EAS unlock v4 turned up yesterday and had a play with it today. It's listing the EKA code as 9999 and the immobiliser option is set to "disabled". The rest of the software seems to pretty much do what it says on the tin, so, well impressed.

Could be drivers door lock micro switches. It could also be that, as happened to me, the PO has given you a FOB they got off Ebay that doesn't go with the car.Yep. The FOB's not working. New batteries, LED flashes, the aerial's connected and I've tried the sync procedure but no joy.
Not had a working FOB since I got the car but it had no batteries and I've stalled off fitting them until now.
If I don't get it working I'll rig up something so as I can get into the car if the lock mechanism breaks.

I don't think it can do this. I'm not overly concerned about it just now. My worry was I was going to land a dreaded "Engine Imobilized" and not have an EKA to get round it. I've bought one of Simon Docherty's code emulators and the RSW EAS V4 can put the ECM into learn mode so I've got that as a last resort should I need it. I'll go through the diagrams and work out another way of working the door lock solenoids, sure it won't be rocket science. However if I come across someone local with a Nanocom I'll talk to them. I can get a loan of a Hawkeye but not sure if that would be any help.Not sure if RSW EAS unlock v4 has it, but Nanocom can check the RF memory for valid code. If the RSW software has similar feature, clear the code first, and then press the fob so the LED lights up. If it's the correct Fob the message should be "valid code received".
