Once I've got an MOT my plan was to get back under and smother the shiney bits with grease to slow down corrosion, some of the old bolt heads were in a shocking state and it wasn't cheap for new ones.Be a shame to take the car out on the road when the weather is crap
Never is cheapness. Someone out there always wants our moneyOnce I've got an MOT my plan was to get back under and smother the shiney bits with grease to slow down corrosion, some of the old bolt heads were in a shocking state and it wasn't cheap for new ones.
Oooh crikey Chris it looks too nice to go driving about and getting dirty I'd want to put it on display for everyone to look at and be envious
Just hope I'm not putting lipstick on a pig! First trip down the road and find out the engine blows up or the gearbox is duff, fingers crossed...Oooh crikey Chris it looks too nice to go driving about and getting dirty I'd want to put it on display for everyone to look at and be envious
You'll be fine mate you'll be fine. When you are cruising down the road looking down on the peasants you will feel like a kingJust hope I'm not putting lipstick on a pig! First trip down the road and find out the engine blows up or the gearbox is duff, fingers crossed...
Has it been wading?Hub pulled off easily with my 3 leg puller, even the hub nut came undone easily. Disc brake shield bolts , 8mm head(what was left of them anyway) m6 thread, were seized solid and crumbled to bits when attempted to undo so ground them off, I'll have to drill them out on the bench from the back now the hub is off.View attachment 248108 View attachment 248108 View attachment 248109
Disc guard and hub bolts drilled out and retapped.View attachment 248125
