Can anybody tell me where the drain pipe is for the sun roof on w reg p38 have sealed all the pollen filter housing and checked the o rings on the heater matrix but still got a leak down the right hand side drivers footwell finking that's all that can b left to check cheers

Front drains run down A posts and out behind rear of arch liner. Rear drains run out behind front of rear arch liners. DO NOT poke wire down them to clear if you puncture drain pipe you will definitely have a leak. There was a bulletin about water ingress through the looms where they enter the scuttle, maybe worth a look.

Fanks for that it seems to b coming in down the loom will try an find the post u said about want to try an get it cured this wkend so I can get it down to Brighton to get the becm sorted cheers again

You will have to look at RAVE and search service bulletins. Cure is applying sealant as far as i recall.

Could be leaking in through front windscreen and running down behind dash, there is known problem with some having a hole in drivers side behind window trim up top where roof rail meets the window,or could be leaking anywhere on windscreen seal,

Mine has got very wet drivers carpets at the moment.

I've looked everywhere for the leak, the carpet is dry on the left hand side (next to the transmission tunnel), and it's also dry under the pedals, so I can only assume it's running down the loom, or down the inside of the a pillar.

Under the carpet next to the step is sopping. What do I have to prise off, or remove to look for this hole behind the window trim?

Not sure what u have to prise of yet but u want to find it quick otherwise your becm will b fecked the same as mine is can u re post iv u find the hole at the top I will check mine at the wkend away with work at moment

No the top of mine is dry inside just running in down the loom will try seal it later and hopefully that will cure it

mine leaked in that area when i got it.
sealed the pollen filter and screws with little effect, still leaking
then i sealed all screws and factory metal to metal bondings in the wider area around pollen filter and no more leaks
think it was a seam bond it was leaking through,
had the panel under steering wheel off and could see water running down wire bundle but turned out leak was further up
that was a year ago and not a single drop since

I've not checked my A/C drains really really recently, but I have done them in the last six months. I've only got wetness near the wiring that runs along the side of the car under the carpet so I suspect that's the best place to look.

I've been through the bulletins and found these....
