Nope. Wires trace back to the 8 pin plug.Yep that looks the same loom.
From your starter does it go to a large solenoid ?
Is that the exciter wire for the alternator ?I haven’t unravelled the tape yet (as I’m sick of being covered in oil) however, in essence yes. 4 big fat brown wires connect to starter, assume two of which loop to the alternator. In addition there are the engine temp, oil pressure and starter exciter wires. Plus a wire I cannot yet identify that was in the alternator portion of the harness.

They look like they will be noisy… but the speeds you will be doing they will be fineI got my gleaming shot blasted and painted wheels back yesterday, £160 well spent. Now to look for rubber. Paddocks do

Not read the faff… all I know some black plates can’t be read by anpr and some other cameras. So you could get stoped more for checks or if motor is stolen they can’t use the cameras to track.Troops, the build date on the V5 is 31 Dec 1979. Can I put black plates on it under the DVLA eligibility faff of 2015?
So the consensus is the vehicle is able to legally display black plates?Looks ok
