I agree with the OP. Peeps only search the web when they're stuck and find us. They ask for help because they need it. Moaning about not introducing yerself whilst being nasty in the process doesn't make sense. We should welcome new members and offer them the opportunity to introduce themselves if they wish. I rarely go in the introduction section and prefer not to post personal details online. Some do but that's their choice and peeps shouldn't be pressured into introductions via black mail that we won't help them.

Banter "comments in the form of playful teasing" shouldn't hide the darker side of the minority who choose to hurt or humiliate others for pleasure. Banter is reminding vagrant he drives a digga and not a telehandler etc. Banter is ok but for those who are new to the forum we should cut them some slack. Once they've become familiar with the forum and their post count increases the **** taking can begin.

We also have several members whose first language isn't English. They try their best to ask for help on the forum. If they don't do the English too good then we shouldn't hold this against them.

We were all new here at some point.
I agree with the op.
If lz get more happy members who are willing to put in useful information then lz will continue to grow, and if enough of us and new members donate then maybe in the future the funds may be enough to allow the next ten year party to be free for members with say 50 useful posts?
Lz should be the best or forum on the web, let's try to make it so.
