just after few ideas what to look for and where to look.....

i have been driving my defender every day since the start of the weekend, tonight though is the first time ive drove it in the dark and when the lights are on full beam the left indicator wont work, you put the hazards on and it dont flash its stays constant orange, the low beam light flashes........
it wasn't doing this last week though, cos i drove in the dark..worked fine.
i no it will be a connection or summet but where do i start?

hopefully it will be summet simple..

will it be the indicator switch behind the steering wheel,or will be at the front end with ther light,............

any ideas would be appreciated
cheers.

I had a very similar experience a couple of weeks ago, couldnt see anything wrong anywhere so took it to local auto electrics spot. They found a wire on the inner wing that had either worn through or been chewed and was shorting the system. It was also blowing fuses like no tomorrow, so try checking as much of your loom as you can get to, nice an thoroughly!!!
