Also is pic of my massive T4 turbo I'm fitting to a 200tdi exhaust manifold.
It has a .60 compressor housing and a 1.52 turbine housing.
In one of the pics is a 2nd hand cylinder head I aquired to port and gas flow, coupled with a large intercooler I should get good gains.
Any thoughts good or bad, any advice would be appreciated.

Have ye taken the huff or summit??? Ah'd be thankfull yer thread wasnae hijacked tae feck and lost sight o' what it was aboot... or maybe ye'd prefer that:doh:;)

Ah've only just noticed it masel' and it looked like it was comin' along just nicely;):D

Na na nae huffs!!
Just was after a bit of feedback and help from experienced owners since I'm pretty new to Landy's.
Put the thread on another forum and got pretty much good feedback and tips of what best to do from experience.
So I thought easier to concentrate on that than update 2 forums...thats aw:)

Ah thought ye got some feedback and a couple o' tips in the earlier posts:confused:
Ye can still update the two forums if ye make a Word doc, write a bit, take a link o' yer photies from photobucket and paste it tae yer doc, write a bit more and then just copy and paste tae each forum.... and ye've got a proper copy fur yersel' if ye want tae post it anywhere else;):D

However the 1300CC was a lot lower geared the result top speed down to 80mph 0-60 just a shade over 3.5 seconds, as I lived in London at the time use to go Porsche Banker hunting in the City, did they feel like small penises when they lost at the traffic lights to a Escort

This is another reason I thought about changing forum...The brains of some people leave a lot to be desired!

Are the golf rear seats fixed or do they still tilt forward for extra boot space?

The golf rear seats still tilt forward.

I made up a frame so that the bottom part lifts and the seats backs tilt forward flat.
I did have a lot of work to do as I had to modify the wheels tubs to accommodate the wider seats.

good work :)

been offered a set of half leather seats from a mk5 escort which i was thinking about fitting but didnt know how much work was involved, originally just wanted a set of fronts but the new seats are black and the old seats are beige so would look a bit ****e if i just put the fronts in

I think the escort seats would be easier to fit due to the standard type of rails they have.
The golf seats have a unique 3 point mount which had to be cut and welded to the disco frames.

The hardest part was the rears as the golf seats are a little wider.

Best bet is to measure the escort rear base and if its roughly the same it should be pretty straight forward to make something up to fit.

Great work. How many people would have scrapped a Disco in that state. We didn't - we run three tdis that were the same way - keep the old girls going.

I'm interested to know how she goes with all that extra boost :D:D

Good work anyway, have been reading this thread with admiration and envy - would be good to see some up to date photos too if you have any?
