Discovery 3 fuel question please

I currently have a Freelander (18 months old), however we're now in a position whereby we could get a new Discovery 3, TdV6.

Can anyone tell me what the fuel consumption would be? (am having a bit of trouble finding details).

Also am I going to get slated coz I'll be driving a bigger 4x4 :( (I have dogs and a horse if that helps but no kids)! :)

how do you know what I can afford or not :mad: this has nothing to do with a financial situation, it was purely out of interest, nothing wrong with being interested in fuel consumption

After yesterdays budget looks like your road tax could be over £200.00 a year.......

Think you should look for something a bit bigger if you want to get your horse in it to be honest :p
 
well I have a Freelander anyway so will have to take the road tax hit with whatever 4x4 I end up with. It's more of a punishment tax for just having a nice car - nothing like taking your freedom of choice away is there :cool:

Just like company car tax - not really aimed at environmental impact reduction just a sopp to the fools who think the world will end unless humanity lives on lentils and walks everywhere.
