I had considered a cheap run around... if I was to go down that route it would most likely be a micra lol!
super cheap, low milage and will never sound like a diesel... I mran it will never break down.

But the main issue with that is the landy will be left stranded :(

I ran a Micra back in the early 00's, it was for a quick trade in on a dodgy clio... Excellent little car... 1.3 glx.... POWER!!! Cheap as chips to run.... I got bored though and got an ST24 after that... but the Micra never let me down... If you can stand the comments they are extremely reliable little cars....

Want something cheap, that is a little bit under the radar, returns good mpg even when you drive it like you stole it... Suzuki Ignis Sport... JWRC winner, 1.5 108bhp lighter than a fiat panda 100hp short ratio gearbox, retro recaro seats (standard)... Spiritual predecessor to the Suzuki Swift Sport not the best looker but A LOT of fun.

When I bought my Landy I had no money and so sold my car bought the Landy (but needed a little fun car for work) and my best mate suggested one of these. I've had mine for two years now and it has been so reliable and I have surprised so many people with its performance. Once again I am looking to move on again to something bigger, hence the comment about the E55 or C55. I do around 200 - 250 miles a week and filling up with v power or 99 mo its about £25 - £30 quid a week and I often have it on three wheels which makes me smile... Pick them up for under a grand now... Worth a look I promise you... :D

not a bad call... never had experience with em, are they reliable as a jap?

Is that Suzuki thing a 3 cylinder?

No 4 cylinder 1.5 dohc, vvt (cam chain). The vvt kicks in at around 3.5 - 4k so to keep it buzzing you need to rev it. With the short ratio gear box if you are at 5 and a half it doesn't dip out of the power when you change up. Being a Suzuki engine it loves revving... on B roads its awesome.. on motorways it'll sit at 80 happily but its a little noisy... over 90 to 100 its ok but you run out after that.. However come to a round about and its like a terrier on speed... :D just puts a smile on my face. I just want a V8 again so thats why I want to change... :)

I've been mulling over my options for the front inner arches as they rub even with 31's!

My 1st thoughts were to tube the front end, but I'd still have to do something to stop all the **** from the wheel getting in the bay all the time.

So this led on to the idea to to what Drizz did with his rear end with his disco.

The plan is to a cut out the inner arch in a circular shape and replace it with a larger arch.
I worked out if I trim the foot wells a tad I can get 41" diameter circular arch, But not sure if I can viably trim the drivers foot well yet.

I'd like to get as big of an arch as possible as I'd like larger tyres at some point and also the axle doesn't move directly up and down when flexing, so it needs more room to account for that too.

Once I get some measurements done and checked out what needs trimming ect ill post my plans!

A couple things that will need doing, I'll need to relocate the batteries and the washer bottle.

This is Drizz's arch btw.
