Will get one tomorrow. Thanks Again Everyone
Thanks frightened incase I strip them with them been old.Just a gasket, simple job, reuse the bolts.
it needs an oil change in any case thats emulsifiedWell Looks like its a new Pan, went to unscrew back out and the bloody plug has gone and fell right through to the inside. I must try and take things slowly from now on and study things before I go ahead and work on them.
Anyway has anyone changed one before ? gonna try and find guide somewhere, Ill probably get new bolts as well and I'm sure there will be a seal / gasket too.
Id just put brand new oil in yesterday before threads stripped, but it had been standing empty or very little in for a good few months before that as it had a leak at the front but changed the flange and seal.it needs an oil change in any case thats emulsified
Gives you an idea
There's a Great place local to me, they have just about every bolt you need for full rebuild. The bolts are not an odd size if you need some, standard metric M10 iirc, any engineering supply place will have them just take an old one with you.
an empty shopping cart, washers are just m10 spring wahersThink this is all I will need, https://www.paddockspares.com/checkout/cart/ but might get bolts from my local place they will be a lot cheaper, also washers as Paddocks don't have the part number and those that do are very dear just for washers.
Sorry will try again. https://www.paddockspares.com/rtc844-rear-diff-plate-cover-salisbury-110-130in.html https://www.paddockspares.com/rtc1139-salisbury-diff-gasket.html https://www.paddockspares.com/607173-bolt.htmlan empty shopping cart, washers are just m10 spring wahers
Will take bolt and washer to my local place they usually match them perfect but sometimes they don't have the correct length so will have to make sure with these.an empty shopping cart, washers are just m10 spring wahers
