Well Looks like its a new Pan, went to unscrew back out and the bloody plug has gone and fell right through to the inside. I must try and take things slowly from now on and study things before I go ahead and work on them.
Anyway has anyone changed one before ? gonna try and find guide somewhere, Ill probably get new bolts as well and I'm sure there will be a seal / gasket too.

it needs an oil change in any case thats emulsified

The bolts are not an odd size if you need some, standard metric M10 iirc, any engineering supply place will have them just take an old one with you.

Will take bolt and washer to my local place they usually match them perfect but sometimes they don't have the correct length so will have to make sure with these.

Bescol in consent stock more than most places. If you get stuck, pop over there.

Ordered bits will try and get it done Sunday, in the mean time will read some more up on it and Take my time and try and do it properly without breaking anything else.:)

Only went up to get one bolt out but ended up taking the hole lot off. Will take one to shop tomorrow, if they have not got any same size will just clean up old ones as they are not to bad, very surprised I didn't snap one or get one stuck knowing me.
Does anyone know the correct Torque for when they go back on? will also give the inside a good clean too.
Please don't say theres something else damaged in there as there might be a Rolling Chassis up for sale,;) don't think I can handle another mistake for a while yet. It looks OK to me anyway.

Gonna fit Pan over weekend. Just need some thread lock then I've got everything ready, couple of quick questions first so I get it right. Anyone know the correct Torque for bolts ? and I've got the Gasket but should I use sealant too??
Ans is there anything else I've forgotten ??
Thanks
