A diagnostic reading of the BECM will give the build date if you are ever up this way.That's the only logical answer captain.

Yip, just cut the vacuum pipe out of site and it never opens. The ECU operates the electronic valve as it pleases but never draws the mechanical valve open. All looks official under the bonnet. Just don't function man!!Is it a ‘99 EGR delete?
