Dashboard LED's?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me which size LED I will need to suit the speedo, fuel and temp gauges on a 300 TDI Defender (1995) its either a T5 or T10 but I would like to order some before I take the panel off!

Hellooo :D No I'm still here, just lingering in the bushes at the moment. I sold my 90 and bought a 300tdi 110 which thus far (touch wood...) has been absolutely trouble free :eek: I've also been spending my nights trying to get a job relating to my design degree but I'm not having much look. Still driving a van around for a living at the mo :rolleyes:

That looks alright :) I've just ordered some green T10's. I like the green, compliments my new head unit too. I swapped the old bulbs for SMD's in my old 90 but I wasn't sure as to whether or not they swapped the bulb holders or anything daft like that in the ten year gap.

Haha, well it would seem that I **** off some old grump or get into trouble every time I post something :D You're spot on there, I've been out of uni a year and a half now, been doing this job for just over a year and used a good 2/3 of my holiday attending interviews etc. I've had two promises which have then fizzled out and numerous other little glimmers of hope but it tends to be the same story for a lot of my mates too. Apprenticeships are the way forwards, bollocks to university, there are far too many people going through the system and no where near enough jobs to entertain them. On the plus side, I do have access to a world of cheap Land Rover parts, oils and other bits and bobs!

i installed mine the difference is great but it seems my fuel gauge is playin up the light just flickers off i have checked the bulb and everythin seems when i pull it out a bit it works but if its pushed all the way in it doesnt. :(

doin me head in i want some of those tim gauges that are pre lit

both.
speedo 2x T10 other guages 1x T5
 
Sorry to hi-jack this. Wanted to do the same with my 1984 "B" reg 90 - is it also 2x T10 for speedo and 1xT5 for other gauges??
