cold start issues

It's a great technique isn't it! Yeah mine smokes like a garden fire at first

i tried a cold start without use of throttle today and it took just as long to start up, its becoming quite a mistery now

yea my cut off switch is fine too

Have ye cracked open the pipes on top of the injectors to see if any fuel was comin' out of them?

yea no fuel came out, so its comin back to the fuel pump again or a non return somwhere. i need that spacing block that goes between the lift pump and the engine block in order to fit the new one i have

Ah take it ye cracked the pipes with the engine turnin' over then? I think i asked ye before about gettin' fuel to the filter and ah'm sure ye said ye were ( can't be arsed lookin' back through the posts!), that's what kinda led me to the cut off switch. When ye bought the new lift pump, didn't it come with a bag of bits inc. the spacer?

no it didnt and yes thats it ! iv been on the phone and internet for a solid week looking for that ! sell it to me, we were gonna make one our selves but would be alot god dam easier if i could buy one, wat we talkin here ?
