Coil springs or not coil springs

Hmmm . . . of course EAS is the correct option.

At least £250 (****part) or £350 (terrafirma) for boings (plus maybe new shocks & lots of abuse), vs £215 for air-bags, plus £20 each for valve block & compressor refurb kits.

No excuse, but one good reason..
.cost. Best way to go ,IMHO, is arnott gen 3's if your pockets are deep enough. Coil kits are not expensive to source 2nd hand bit by bit and cobble them together. Itl take few days to fit and is pretty straight forward. Although make sure you know what height u want to be at permanently. If your in two minds id stick with airbags as the conversion is a bit*h to reverse if you change your mind ;)

I wonder why coil kits are cheap second hand?

Anybody who fits coil springs on a P38 because he cannot repair the EAS should not be working on vehicles.
and unfortunately that includes LR main dealers:mad:. And because of the ridiculous hourly rate they charge they make the excuse that it is uneconomic.
Previous owner of mine was told it was uneconomic to even diagnose what had gone wrong.
