ftc2169 and ftc1010 and maybe ftc4085 ,but the last i found needed a shaft i bought a used bell housing

Cheers. Same for both then. Wish it would say rather than only stating V8.

Couldn't see the oil seal anywhere. The outer diameter is 40mm, inner diameter 25mm and 7mm deep. I will ring Wych Bearings when they next open and see if they can help.

Cheers.

If it was me, yes.

Tomcat. The smaller bush far end of fork is brass, or looks it on mine. The closest the pivot point is steel. Then there's a cup in the end of the lever to accept the pushrod - that looks pretty darn warn as well but cannot see it being an issue. If I f*ck this up I'll pay the postage!
I'll try and knock the pins out and give it a clean tomorrow to check the bushes if I get a chance The Enemy wants to go to look for another new kitchen:rolleyes: This will be number six in thirty years,in the same house by the way.:( Sorry for the late reply, touchscreen playing up.

Just had a look at my clutch housing @GRRR, the release arm end of the shaft has what looks like a dust seal and a metal bush,photo1, the other end has a metal bush, the outer end of which is sealed by a cup coreplugs, photo 2/3 I'm afraid this assembly also requires an arm insert FTC2189 as this one is worn photo 4. The bushes shown in the parts diagram you posted FTC2169 and1010 are shown as "top hat design whilst on mine they are plain

Thanks, Al. 6 'r's in Grrrrrr, BTW. ;-)

Yes, same as mine. Mine is worn to f*ck too. Pull it half out and it wobbles about like a whippet's dick, to steal Wammers favourite similie.. I pulled the seal out. The top hat is on the outside. So, bushes have be pushed out from the inside and then pressed in from the outside and the core plug and oil seal replacing.

I am wondering if I get another seal or maybe an o-ring and place on the inside on reassembly might help keep dust out and prolong life.
