Do I need a diagnostic jobber to do this or can I just leave the battery disconnected?
I can't justify buying one just to clear the fault and then sell the vehicle which is a shameSorry, I was thinking suspension airbag fault but I guess you mean SRS airbag fault. For that you'll need nanocom.
Not far from Burton-upon-Trent but I work in Lichfield and am happy to travelWhere are you based, there might be someone nearby with nanocom who could help.
It's an early model without seat belt tensioners so there aren't anyCheck the under seat connectors with ignition off thats first thing, you might get lucky and it clears.
It just says air bag fault on the dash, I've sprayed contact cleaner into all the yellow plugs I can find and I've replaced the steering wheel squib jobber but it still remainsWhat is the fault. light on?
I remember a post (I think), that there are two bulbs and if one is blown then the other will stay on. Fingers crossed.
Bloody hell right again. Twice in as many days, must be a record for me. Morning Tony.Correct.
That's very interesting, I don't get any light on the dash only a message in the lcd display. I shall investigate when I get homeI remember a post (I think), that there are two bulbs and if one is blown then the other will stay on. Fingers crossed.

You should get an SRS lamp when ignition is turned on, it should go out when ECU has done it's self checks. If you do not get an SRS lamp just a message you may need two bulbs. That's very interesting, I don't get any light on the dash only a message in the lcd display. I shall investigate when I get home
