Hello!
Thanks for your responses last night.

Ended up going into b and q, buying some very large washers and some shock cord to make an improvised bush/packing to get me to ravenglass.

Have been given the contact for a local bloke who will hopefully have the bits to effect a better repair.

Failing that I may be in touch with johnlad to pick some up and swap over! Thanks for the offer!

Thanks again chaps

Chris

Apologies, my teenage daughter was given my phone last week after destroying her 2nd Iphone in 3 months, im currently mobileless - if thats a word. Mad Hat amn, do you want a home phone number in case anything else comes up in Chorley area? Bloody typical......

A bit of a hi-jack but I've the same problem on a new to me Series 3, I've literately just got it and it was driving like a boat so I had a closer look and one of the rear shocks is totally away from it's mount on the axle. The springs and shocks are definitely not the standard stuff, so I'm wondering how do I know what sort of bushings to get or are they all the same??

For example, would the following work??
