Charging battery without disconnecting?

My 200di engine doesn't get glow plugs either, i have no warning lights at all, no speedo, no rev counter, no main beam, no emergency flashes, and currently no brake lights... Not bad considering electrickity is meant to be my area of expertises :jaw:

The engines are bomb proof though, they'll start everytime with littler tlc!
