Central Locking Help

Hi All

I have 2 discovery 1's, one is a 95 300tdi and the other is a 94 200TDi. The 200TDi is unfortunatly scrap as it has too much damage to save, it dose however have remote central locking. My 300TDi has only key central locking, can i install the remote central locking from the 200 into my 300? If so what would i have to do?

Might be easier to trace what's wrong on the 300 ... many of the parts are similar so swapping them out might help.

Sorry should have said my 300 never came with a remote.

Heh, yeah, that's a problem!

Have a search on the forum, there are some articles on about 300 locking systems and plip replacements, I seem to think that you can buy a second-hand one and get it re-programmed .. presumably all the gubbins is there still on the vehicle?
