That's a nice looking bus dood!.
Cool plate as well.
So if you lower the suspension and get a step ladder can you reach the roof rails then?:p

Ha ha ha, actually, you hit the nail on the head :D

I put her down to access height, then got up 3 steps to put the plate bolts on and the spider attracting rubber bung (o_O WTF is all "that" about??? I hate spiders :().

I like my old girl, she's bonny and has been epic since I sorted out the shite 7mm plug leads for home made 8mm ones. Super powerful and reliable

I obviously didn't zoom in enough :eek::D

The problem started with a grille that was minging 49 shades of grey, so I decided to tidy it up.

They guy suggested carbon fibre! I asked if he thought I had a Corsa or if I was 12

Anyway, I liked the clear flames on a black background, but still wanted to be "different" to all the sheeple.

So I asked if he could do the clear in Icelandic Blue Mica?? And that's how it came about.

It looks pretty damn good in real life ;)

It's coz the blue, if it was similar colour vehicle to the 'bird ****' it would blend well.
The lights are a very interesting configuration ;)

I'm not sure how??

That's how the car came to me, I did nothing other than the light guards....

I kinda like the roof rails Doo..... and what a steal !!!

but now you need side steps too

No.

Never!

I have never been a fan of side steps because they don't work and I find myself trying to move my foot (feet) further out when stepping out.

In my current condition, I would end up on my face o_O

P38's with lights and racks start to whistle in the wind

Your indicator setup ;)

The top screen trim used to whirrrr anything around NSL, but since the new screen went in, nada!

I've had her up to the motorway NSL and not a whisper, no whine, no whistle no buzz....

As for the indicators, they have a two colour LED set up at the front.

I decided to make the clear indicators a white sidelight as a permanent fixture so soon as the engine starts, I get this...

But when I start indicating, the white light goes off and I get an orange flashing indicator. Soon as I stop indicating, the white light comes back on.

It is extremely cool and I know someone else has the exact same set up because I copied them, in a plageristic fashion :p

I wish!

No, my broken ankle/leg has caused some issues, but the constant limp has created a knee/hip issue on the right side.

So exiting is "interesting" to say the least. Wife's car is horrendous to get in/out, because the broken neck thingy is a dick to bend to get in/out. It's a Citroen C4 hatchback (2007) and although it's an epic little car, I really don't like trying to get in or out

You broke your neck?? was it loading stuff onto the roof rack??

Nothing so banal.

Not sure if you know the story, 2yrs and 3months ago I was closing the gate at work (a certain member on here seems to think that by mentioning gates to me it makes it hilarious, it doesn't....) and it collapsed on top of me. 2 tonnes of 100mm box steel construction with 2 hinges and no jockey wheel (you learn a lot when shit happens...).

Anyway, I figured I had a couple of broken ribs (among my other injuries of badly broken ankle and leg), but the hospital said I was fine (along with the fact that half of my deltoid muscle had been ripped off my arm and ignored for 7 months until I insisted on an Ultrasound...the continuing pain is just utterly wearing :().

So, many months (years) in, I was getting nowhere until my wife insisted we went to Lithuania and got an MRI.

Turns out my not broken ribs happened to be an actual broken (and badly healed by now) C7 vertebrae which gives me acute pain 24/7.

I can't even put my own socks on. Every morning I can't put my own trousers on until I have "warmed" up for a while. If I am in a hurry (appointment or such) I need my wife or son to help me out (or in as the case may be).

It's a bit shite, but it could have been worse I suppose o_O

So, getting in/out of a car can be a bit of a struggle some days.
