Standard, no bespoke internals ?Mind you your 630 has a ZF4hp24 in it, same as my 4.6 with a different ECU

So maybe the ZF can be built accordingly
Different ecu for engine, not sure a 24 would cope with that much more abuse though, however it was built.

Yep hard to believe but it is a standard HP24 with a different TCM/Map.
The HP24 is capable of great imput torque, the TQ is different however - the stall is slightly higher.
Not sure about change in TCM only different ecu
I didn’t think anybody had actually cracked the RR TCM yet?
J
If it were closer I'd buy it just for the interior, scrap it sell the engine and other bits.It has the Oxford leather, so there is that going for it
Probably a different torque reduction strategy on shifts giving a much bigger drop in torque than standard.I'm guessing 'Finch managed to do it, according to sourses it just has a different Transmission control module Map..
To enhance gearchanges, and improve shift time.
I haven’t seen it but why wouldn’t he?

Adaptor plate SBC to ZF box are readily available, probably to the R380 too? But I believe manual might be border line don’ know.
So from there back all the same 4x4.
Although I would imagine that in a defender would certainly be a handful

Think a 6.3 would kill a manual box. Henry would probably know the figures.
Don’t really come across any 4.0 v8’s?
It’s all 2.5/4.6 wonder why
There are a few 4.0's here the majority were Automatic..@emcm0034 has a 4.0, first one I’ve noticed on here. Is it manual or auto?
Does engine look that much different ?
