Sorry, but I vote for the Insa Turbo Dakkar.

Same as the old BFG M/T but half the price.

I've put my Disco in some pretty nuts places, where I've thought "uh oh, I'm in trouble here" and they've just dug in and pulled be out.

Good point my mates got them on his disco and we can't fault them, good on road, off road, everywhere :)

Hello, just having a set of Disco 2 Polar alloys 16s powder coated black for my black disco 2 and am wondering if these tyres are availabe in the UK seen them in the US and they look gooooood. If not any opinions of the new bfg mud 9 (KM2) tyres yet? I know its another tyre question but just seeing what people think. :)

Take no notice of this lot. The pink writing is cool, buy them :D :D

I appreciate the constructive criticism. Got to love the world of forums. Might use this search tool soon. :)

;) you got it. Give as good as you get oh here and go with the **** taking and you'll be alrite.

An MT tyre is supposed to be a mix between an extreme tyre and an AT. Its supposed to be decent ish in the gloop and off road in general but your also supposed to be able to get some decent mileage out of them annorl. The problem with your special tracks and such is there not an original mould, they are re moulds of older tyres and are just printed and not designed.

Coopers/BFG's and such will last longer and are just as good.

If you dont want to get stuck get an extreme tyre.

they do look good, any ideas on price of them cant find online?

but i will be on the road a little too, i have goodyears on now for road use but want some more aggressive tyres for messing about with.

what good mud tyres come in 255/85/16 or 255/65/16? any ideas?
for that cooper stt or bfg km2 but they aint cheap and for a 255 you would be better geeting 235/85/16 abount an inch smaller but still good
