You can buy flywheel adaptors for manual conversions on high revving nissans.......

Online Store - Xcessive Manufacturing

So it goes ahead.....I'm using that big block 405 flywheel with a spacer and I will use bolts for everything instead of studs! As well as epoxy resin instead of loctite......

Hell for the sake of it and the fact its going to make no difference to my MPG I'll even make up a 10mm thick shield in the bulkhead tunnel. That engines going to do sweet F all to sweet F'ing nothing no matter how its driven or what the vehicle weighs in at and seeing as I'm nearly 3000lbs lighter than the original caddy I may as well

yesterday you said 402???????????? what the hell is it 402 or 405?????? What brand 405?????

Does it really matter what I say ?

Either way its off a big block GM and I really cant be arsed looking at the specs on it. I've got the PCD to measure up and the diameter of the flywheel which is all that matters

no I just cant be arsed looking to see if its a 402 or a 405,

obviously they're not apple for apple but I have the important measurements so I can see if it'll be a close fit as well as the total tooth count so I can get a starter for it if it'll fit

dude i dunno why thor reams you so much, like every other post is a dig.
+1
now I like a bit of trolling every now and again myself, but have to say it does seem the Septic is gunning for you Buddy.

I know you are a misguided dreamy lazy twunt Drivel spouter, but good luck with the build and can you actually finish this one please.

not reaming at all. Have you seen Doc get on Newbies???????

I am being very gentle.............Doc does not take advice very well Look at his first 3.5 for this series. Motor #3 at the moment

yeah i have, no worse than anyone else thats established on the forum, he doesnt endlessly chase them round their threads like you seem to do.

Ok maybe not reaming, but your like a dog with a bone.

So what if its his third motor, its his motor, if he wants to spend all his time dicking about and not taking advice then fine, if he didnt want your advice in the first place then why are you constantly trying to ram it down his throat?

let him make his own mistakes (or not) life is a learning curve, i for one find his madcap as hell projects quite amusing.

Newbies tend to deserve it when I get involved.......

And no I don't take advice I have no need or interest in, this may be motor number three but the second one was a nice runner and this ones only going in because I can!

There are several others giving advice on this. I got a little more experience on GM than Doc;) 405 was wrong and was trying to point that out. Kinda like fitting 1.8k parts into a td5:rolleyes::D.
