Slept through alarm so not running which is a bugger cos was supposed to see a new " possibility" there. Grr. No snow at all so going to fit my other front seat and adjust the other so it goes further forward.

Put the first slider through the milling machine today, turned out nicely :)

Gonna put the other 5 sets of holes through tomorrow and if I get time I'll drill the holes for the tow point bolts

None today but will take some tomorrow!

Might take some of the other rooms too, theres a dedicated engine and dyno room, formula for garage, hovercraft garage and two measurement rooms

Workshops huge! But getting rebuilt soon further up the site, think they're downsizing a bit though :(

Sliders milled, just need to weld in the jacking points and work out the size of the chassis mounts

Bumper is ready to be milled tomorrow if I get a chance if not will be done on Friday and ten it's ready for the bolt holes to be drilled for the tow hitch and a test fitting before I weld up the sides, rear arch pieces and step

With that in mind  anyone I'm Preston area with a bumper off so I can test :p ?

Looking good :)
Would love to have a play in that workshop. I would make soo many things.

Its lovely in there ;) warm, full of machines and has some technicians that come up with excellent ideas if you get stumped!
Wouldn't have thought to do it the oxy way for making the holes

Specialised engine room and you still couldn't get your old v8 running, tut tut tut :p

Not allowed to take engines there :p :rulez:

Ho yuss .. In my case somewhere warm and dry would be good enough .. ;)

This is warm, dry, full of plenty of machines and has a vending machine in the building next door :p

My favourite place on campus that workshop :)

Many years ago my father used to be the Central Workshops Manager for Aberdeen University (subsequently became engineering course coordinator) and I loved going in there as a child and being shown around.
