If it all gets too much for you over there in the UK, you can register your vehicles at my address, and I'll let you hire them back for a nominal fee :D

usual govermental bollox - I have many a motor, but explain this one to me, my 42mpg peugeot 407 coupe is £500+ a year in road tax because of its emmissions... my 9MPG tuned D1-3.9V8 is £200ish a year, so is my 4.0v8 Supercharged Jaguar XJR. If I drove one of them for a year full on and my wife drove the other for a full year between us we'd have punted out enough tail pipe emissions to melt sufficient antarctic ice to drown at least one pacific atoll. Yet my most fuel efficient car and incidently the safest with its euro NCAP 5* rating is taxed to the brink... Aye Ok, whatevs this vechile tax malarky is so.. about saving the environment.

As I used to tell the Norwegians I worked with - the last man to enter the british parliament with honest or honourable intentions was Sir Guy Fawkes when he tried to blow the damned thing up, and that is why over 500 years later we still commemorate his honourable honesty with fireworks every year. :D

That little factlet has to rank up there with the stories I may have told to many a tourist about the haggis actually being a wee beasty that runs around the hills of scotland with one side of its body having a set of legs legs shorter than the other to deal with the angle of the hills, thus it was easy for licensed haggis hunters such as my lounge lizzard self to snare them and that is how haggis meat came to be the national dish of scotland...

just to correct myself, it should be noted that it is only four centuries since we last had a man enter our parliament with honest intentions rather than five centuries.
