Hi all, I have a 75 series with no brake servo and was looking to upgrade it to a servo base solution. Does anyone have any links to suppliers that may have second hand/reconditioned ones for sale?

they are a about £65 new,i got an old junk defender one inc m/cylinder from a scrappy for my '88 1969 2a petrol and when i was sure it all fitted correctly i bought brand new, less than £100 all in,
the manifold vacuum take off is a standard gas fitting,

i found a defender pedal box ,+ junk servo from a breaker but it didnt cost much,20 quid or so, the baulkhead aperture has to be heightened by about 1/2 an inch or so but no cutting of the wing was required, all the bolt holes lined up exactly.
i combined my servo + dual m/cylinder with an 11 inch tls setup on the front with standard on the rear and it stops as well as my modern(ish) van,
 
going back to your original post maybe a remote servo would do, they fit these types to older MGs and the like.this one is £50 s-l1600.jpg

that one was from e bay. search for 'remote servo' and a fair few pop up, i thought of buying one and putting it under the centre seat before settling on upgrading the full system .maybe try looking on a vintage british sports car forum for reviews, compatibility etc,

on reflection they might only be suitable for single systems,not dual so the defender setup is most likely the best way to go,

I fitted a remote brake servo to an MGB some years ago and it did work well. It should work well in this application as well. It certainly made the brakes easier and lighter and the kit mentioned earlier in the thread should be available from most MG suppliers (Moss, Sussex MG Parts and other outlets.)
It should technically be able to mount it just about anywhere, on the B it is mounted on the opposite side of the car from the pedal against the bulkhead beside the heater, just need to break into the main brake line and route it through the servo and provide a vacuum off the engine.
Watch your brake servo ratios, there are a number of different servos and some are more powerful than others.
You may have to make up a new bracket but it shouldn't be difficult to fit one, the original was an optional extra on earlier B's anyway. The pics shows mine fitted on the top right hand side behind the engine.
