bench seats

2 questions really
i bought my defender last friday and the window washers was not spraying so i thought hey there just froze, theres water in the bottle but there still not working and i can hear the motor when i try the washers any idea?

and i have bench seats with lap belts but my girlfriend said we cant put child seat in the back because we need the high fixed belt to go through the child seat ? any help would be appreaciated
i did say i could strap her to the bonnet - that went down like a lead balloon :doh:

Not sure about washers when you can hear motor. Re seats. It is illegal to put anyone under 14 in side facing seats so start cutting some humble pie

do what i used to do have the nipper up front wiv me,she used to have to go in the back behind the dog guard fookin best place for her n all

hahaha in the back she'll have to go and kid up front then

Have you had the connectors off on the motor? I once put them on the wrong way so the fluid went the wrong way!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the exect same problem with my window washer, I can hear it working but nowt comes out. (Ive also started a new thread regarding this)

mine 2 I'm that bored have fixed all dash lights and pat tested company tools-if I can feel the need I 'll look at mine tomorrow and post

fixed my window washer's, st8uck a pin right in the holes (went quite far)gave it a little toggle,looked like some dirt was in there.
then kept the washer button depressed untill it started working

That int true. You can put em in, but yer not allowed to belt em - if they are in seats with belts they have to have a booster.

Best option is to put doris in the back and little un next to you. That way you are a)n legal and b) less likely to hear her whingeing!!!

I think if you introduced seats into the back, then your not allowed anyone under 135cm, and under 12 years of age. But, if you have rear sideward facing seats as standard, then you can have anything above 3 years upwards unrestrained. You can not have chilrden under 3 in any circumstance in the back, due to legal reasons regardless of standard or custom fit sideward facing seats (ie bench seats).

You can lose the cubby holder, and let her sit in the middle? I dont know how much room the baby seat,boster takes but, happy families up front might be possible. Might have to deal with the big gearstick between her legs.

Just tagging along - has anyone fitted forward-facing seats in the back of a 90?

no, but somewhere I had read it on here. rather annoying to get to the seats they said! depends if you want 3 abreast or just single mounted ones.
