I'm needing a motor ATM after ditching the disco on the lower deeside road. I could adopt it untill I fix my CSW ;) then if you ever "need" it back you know where to find it. I won't be looking for maintenance payments either unlike a newly divorced wife might lol plus you could come out and visit at the weekend...go out for a drive, reminisce about old times etc etc

:)

nice of the guy to post details of his worth, along with reg details for all the scammers and cloners out there in the world to see, but the funniest bit is he shows all and sundry all that, then hides something behind cheap plastic sheeting up in the gods....

:mooning:

takes all sorts I spose.

the old jaguar (is it) would make a nice banger on a pre 67 day though, regardless of its year..

lol...

I thought it was a Scimitar.

Yep an old SE5a Essex v6, ongoing project. The blue tarps are just to hide the crap, nothing interesting behind them I am afraid.

Can't sell the boat as it is not mine.

All I was looking for was a few ideas about how to justify keeping it if I have offended anyone by posting my dilemma or come across as arrogant then I .........

Couldn't give a fu@k.

To those that have been constructive and or had a bit of banter cheers, loving the club!!!!

The main reason she wants rid of one car is to make it easy for her to get her 4x4 into the shed in the winter to save scraping the windscreen in the morning before work. I think I should put forward a case for a 'her' garage as the 'his' one is full!

That's easy. Either give her a piece of tarp the size of her windscreen and tell her to make sure she remembers to cover the car every night, or if her birthday's due soon, move her Summer car out of your garage and buy her a tarp big enough to cover the whole vehicle. Simples.

:D

least yours are mostly road going....

we are up to 4 cars - 3 of them 4x4 and 1 reliable costs us very little to run vehicle.

1 is a vauxhall - that doesnt count.

one is in pieces and the others a donor ..... my drive looks like a scrappies ;)

Well we have to make do with just 5 cars between us two, but we manage! Fleet comprises;

Fiat 500 wife's everyday car
Mazda MX5 MK1 60k miles Wife's summer car
Mazda MX5 Mk2 62k miles My summer car
Focus diesel company car/ run about
Discovery 2 TD5 manual 145k miles (!) used to tow horse trailer and on snow to get wife to stables

We tried to sell one of the MX5's but they are both reliable and in great condition and would only fetch about £800 a piece so I took another route and made the drive wider to accomodate the Disco!!!!

Fiat is in for new fuel pump and wont be back till Tuesday, so we just use one of the others, dont know how folk cope with only one or 2 cars!!!!!

You need to come up with a new hobby that makes the situation worse. Leave caravan mags around the place, and tell you really fancy getting into caravan repairs.. and have found 3 potentials :D

I have the same problem, had three of them washed today, I'll make my mind up over the weekend:confused:

That supercharged Jag looks beautiful in white, its a work of art, rice burners are very good but not the same somehow :)

I'm a stickler for jags myself but the pure power of the Merc is tempting ;)

Although one of my mates is building a 1000 HP skyline can't wait to go in that !!

Love the rice rockets! My summer car is a MKiv Supra, a few subtle mods and it is just shy of 600bhp which is plenty for me.

Bet it dont sound as nice as the supercharged V8 Jag or the Bi Turbo V8 AMG, it'll be quicker probably:)
