I thought it looked small!
will get a BIGGER replacement

but as mentioned measure ur battery tray and get the biggest CCA u can fit
plus don't forget you've got to sort out the battery drain as well

the battery tray will take a huge battery so the 100ca 900cca will be the one i'll get.

072 is the correct battery for the petrol P38. Although the larger 664 from the diesel will do no harm.

The tray is huge but remember the leads are quite tight so make sure the leads can still reach the terminals. Got an Alphaline MF31-1000 in mine at the moment. I think the Platinum 642X will fit and should be able to confirm if it turns up next week.

Second grrrrrr. RF receiver did it for me. Overhead power cables, powerful wi-fi around and loads of it ever increasing. There's coloured spots on them. I've forgotten which is which.ive got the battery grrrrrr just mentioned. If you buy from battery megastore don't trust their registration number look up.

I phoned Battery megastore and asked for the biggest battery that will fit the p 38 diesel, the guy knew just what i needed. Dont remember which tractor it was for but it was a Alphaline MF31- 1000

George and chris. Being me, I went ahead blithely having put my reg in and got a battery that was as wrong as it could be. They replaced it with mf31-1000 the one I've always had. Only charged me the difference in battery price. I told them about their registration look-up and they said it was a new thing they included. I was just tipping anyone off who trusts the reg look up thing to watch out. Of course, everyone except me will double check. It's the wires again. Oh no.
