Basic Tool Kit for a 90

Hey all,

Just picked up my 1st Land Rover, a1986 90 2.5 NA diesel, yesterday. Having fun sorting out random issues. So far nothing really crazy. Question of the day: I want to put together a basic tool roll to keep in her. Suggestions on contents? Tools and spares for "likely to fail" items.

variety of screwdrivers
hammer
cold chisel
pliers
mole grips

spare fluids - EP90, auto stuff, brake fluid and engine oil

I don't think this stuff will fit into a tool roll, maybe a trailer, but thanks for the tips. And, Scotsman, condoms are valuable survival gear in hundreds of situations. Not just those involving livestock.

i keep a 18inch breaker bar behind the seat, just in case. never know i may even get a flat tyre as well

I actually carry a trolley jack round with me... can't be dealing with ****y little bottle jacks. That, a 27mm socket, a big ****-off breaker bar, some screwdrivers, some open ended spanners, a little hammer, a bigger hammer, some WD-40, some engine oil, a 5l container of ready-mixed water/antifreeze, some chocks of wood. Also have an AA card with me in case I can't fix it with all that lot.

I suppose gaffer tape would make pretty **** trap roll, the sticky side would pull your bum hairs and the grey side would be like that cheap tracing paper they put in pub toilets!
