Mate from work 3D printed this hand gauge holder for my Fourby EGT Gauge, just needs spraying black.

As for readings beyond my best guess.

90mph up hill in 5th barely touched 500°C

Even pushing hard driving around could not get it above 500°C maybe time for more fuel!

Also found my 3 year old Allisport intercooler was leaking, couldnt boost past 25psi

Took a couple weeks for them to replace and I had to prove the leak. Home made pressure tester :p haha

New one is in and back to boosting happy to 29psi.

Also cut a rewelded the turbo intake pipe so it sits at a better angle toward the airbox. Much neater! Will also be getting a mate to Tig a pipe to replace the green hose.

Annoying the top hose to heater pipe is leakinh fairly badly, new one en route. Second coolant leak!

Also now toying with the idea of rear bucket seats as Im bored

Been quite the few days in the snow!

Had to go thru Eynesford ford as car abandoned on the bridge, not realising it was 2.6ft deep  Sailed thru, almost literally :p Impressed tbf.

Driver to work day 1

Couple stuck cars, nothing serious just needed a push.

Drive home. 4 cars and 2 vans stuck on ice.

Pulled the LWB fully loaded transit up an icey hill out the way, went back for 2 cars - in one go.

All so I could get passed to get home.

200m later, find a car wedge sideways on the lane with another car edging closer and closer on ice. Quickly strapped it to mine (with the help of the LWB transit owner) pulled him away.

Then pushed the wedged car out the way.

While we do this he husband turns up, forgets his handbrake. On an icy hill.:oops::rolleyes::oops::rolleyes:

Que him sliding into the ditch.

His wife however just fuc ks off without so much as a thank you.

Hubbys alot more grateful for the tow

Finally home.

Day 2. Same lane, 10 cars piled up at the bottom of the hill o_O surely car 3 or 4 would think, you know i wont go down the icey hill...

I turned around...

Only to be hampered by a stuck Transit pick up . With the owners permission I pushed him out the way with the 110 :p

He then managed to reverse into his farm.

Half way to work 3 cars in 2ft run off ditches. Checked the owners where OK, drove one to the garage (had been there 3 hours with no heat and no real winter clothes!)

Drive home.

Stuck LWB transit, flat ice. Easy recovery. Driver happy.

Then a Juke firmly wedged inside a hedge, had been there an hour with his young son. Recovery was apparently going to take 5 hours

Pull him out. Massively impressed with the 110 here. Sloped, solid ice, car was stuck off the lane, in a ditch, wedged in a hedge.

Pulled out minimal effort! With a £50 donation from the driver to Air Ambulance! :D

I wonder what tomorrow holds for me and the 110 :)

Got to say I absolutely love my 110. Just does everything, everyday, all the time with little rest tbh. Past few days really shown its self to be a wonderful asset and help to the passers by!

I also LOVE my ATB diffs even more. Brilliant fun to drive and the traction is phenomenal, its actually hard to make it slide or slip. Just goes straight much to my disappointment :p

Hows everyone else?

Had a couple of ' the straps in the back mate, help yourself and hold on' this morning, one was a fiat 500 young lad trying to drive through about 2 foot drift on the lanes, and grouded it on an ice block WTF! Total Darwin award, did feel sorry for him, pulled him out and all the way to a decent 'B' road then gave friendly advice, "stay in bed" lol

Quick alternator swap this morning!

Voltage has been very intermittent for the past week, sometimes 10.8v, 12v then the usual 13.9v.

Seeing as its done 160k miles through all sorts was prudent to change before total failure!

Replaced with a genuine Denso unit, keep the old one as a spare.
