£60 £40plus got a delphi that does ecu [which is showing cam sensor bank a fault]but won,t read becm
OBDII will only do engine. You need proper diag to get into BECM. £40 + the dreaded for two minutes work is bloody ridiculous.
Daughter has a Nissan Note with engine light on, my friendly MOT guy read & cleared the code for O2 sensor (FOC), the light came back on, Called main dealer to get it done under warranty - they wanted £55 + Vat just to diagnose if the fault wasn't covered by warranty, even having been told what it was!

Local Vauxhall dealer tried to tell 20yo girl next door that she had to pay for a "winter inspection" for them to take a squint at the brakes on her *4 month old* car. She says they put it to her as if she was the idiot for expecting anything else.If the car is under warranty and the O2 sensor has failed it is for them to find the cause and replace any parts needed FOC.

Unreal. These frauds are taking no prisoners at all.

20 year old? Send her here will inspect her for nothing.
I suspect she swings the other way; let's say she'd fit in better on the front row than swan lake.....
If we are having a bitch at garages, attached is a picture of one of my front brakes that Trust Ford in Warrington refused to replace under their "brakes for life" guarantee (I got the car from them) because, and I quote, "There is plenty of material left on them, they are only worn down to 70%". Despite the fact they are clearly coming apart. The problem is I'd replaced the discs myself as I knew only the pads were covered so they had no way of making money out of me!!
Big lass then. Ok i retract my offer.
