Ten year disposable car! More plastic than you can shake a stick at! If there was less plastic we'd have more oil for fuel!!Have you seen the new RR?!
LandRover seem to be ignoring my query about engine warranties... I've contacted them directly and also sent an email to the local main dealer... Nothing but radio silence...
It won't be quick. Wouldn't be surprised if they run it past the legal team first for a carefully worded fob off. That's why you need legalese for the response so they know you are serious.
It has a part dealer service record from new, then a bit blank, then an authorised LandRover service centre service record from my ownership.Unless you have proper documentation of dealer servicing then I'm pretty confident you'll be farting against thunder.
Does it have a service record?
I did law at college so I'm good at that kind of thing!

Please forgive me if I am wrong...
Take your point and accept it.As far as I can see the legal system has a shed load of grey in it, one of the reasons this PPI bull**** is still rolling and NHS hospital claims are nudging £4bn a year.

Sure there was a case a while back where somebody bought a luxury car, didn't ever take it back to be serviced, attempted a warranty claim and lost.
The PPI is because of wording in the contract, and the forced sale, take out this insurance and we will give you the loan, don't and we won't. Nhs is because the govt is an complete ass!
Either way, no way is that motor going to be under warranty at 90k miles. Not many new cars offer that. I'd be surprised if land rover warranty on a new factory engine is more than 1 years 12k miles, whichever comes first.
Good point, ref. Don't ask.Don't ask; don't get. Every little helps. Does the Jag engine fit?
I know a brick layer..At the moment I am having issues with an engine rebuilder and am thinking I will have to resort to legal measures to get satisfaction does any one know a layer that would handle this kind of case?
