I run a Garmin Zumo (goes on my bike too) and you can input your own route via your pc so using a landranger map and a pc you can route all yer green lanes - i bet ya tom tom can't do that, had an original tomtom go when they first came out tho but moved to garmin cos i need it on me bike :D

I've got a TomTom Rider which goes on the bike too, and you can hook that up to Google Earth to see the green and brown in the green lanes!
It's about £250 and maybe worth taking a look...

...and if you have any other sat nav device, there's some excellent free software (open source) which will let you convert between lots of different file formats, including Google Earth KML format. You can then edit your TomTom POIs in Google Earth, save the KML file and then convert back into TomTom format. Excellent!

Hi Hunt3r, I did send an email to you to ask to be included in this file distribution... but I thought I would mention it here as well... also these waypoints, being in Lat, Lon mode can be easily transferred into Mappoint (Or associated software) for use as a poi set in there. Handy since one of my navigation and tracking program uses Mappoint to plot a vehicle's position with!

Cheers

Sure. The files were in some other format when i got them. But I found a bit of software on the web to convert them into what ever satnav file you need. I converted to tomtom cus ive got it and so have 80% of satnav users. Anyway, have fun with them!

i have navman 510 works sound bought it with no software so how do i load updates to it any ideas please

To be honest I dont know about a navman. With tomtom you just drop the files into the map folder. But not sure if they are the right format for tomtom. There are websites you can use to convert POI files from/to different formats.

Check this link out
POIConverter

might help you on your way.

Na cos It's only the start and end gridref for the lanes and they're available on loads of tomtom forums already. If you can't read a map your not gonna know where to go once you get past the start point
