Anyone got TomTom?

Sorry guys. Havnt read this tread in a couple of days.
All you need to do is copy those files to the map folder. The map folder will be stored on the Flash card for your tomtom. If you have a card reader on your pc/laptop you can do it via that. failing that you should be able to plug your tomtom into the computer via the usb lead. As the tomtom devices are basically pocket PCs you should be able to browse the flashcard when you plug it in. If you are not sure which folder is the map folder. It should say something like GB or UK in the folder name. Also the map folder is the largest folder on the card. So right click and check the properties of the folder. should be well over 100mb. You do not need to open the files i sent you. Simply copy and paste into the map folder.

I have found English Heritage and National Trust poi for Our TOMTOMs .

They are free and once unzipped just dragg and dropp two files into the maps folder , One is the art work the other is the destinations , its works great .

There are other POIs on the web page to , so just download the ones you need its free and works , So when we arnt Green laning we can find other things to go explore lol ..

I run a Garmin Zumo (goes on my bike too) and you can input your own route via your pc so using a landranger map and a pc you can route all yer green lanes - i bet ya tom tom can't do that, had an original tomtom go when they first came out tho but moved to garmin cos i need it on me bike :D
