Right Flumps reality check time if you have to pay someone to drive all that way and back again 950 odd miles it's gonna cost you at least £500. You could buy a disco for that money.
If you can't find a trailer to put it on, you need to decide if your gonna risk travelling down there on the train and getting it sorted & driving it back That's gonna cost you the best part of £100 for fuel £50 for MOT plus any parts & another £100 for the train which will get you as far as Oban. If you've got a student or young persons rail card this'll be cheaper.
Everyway you look at it, It's gonna cost you the price of a cheap disco to go and collect it. My advice is forget it. Let someone else buy it and look for something nearer to home..
