too rude to mention
Trying to get my roof bars off so I can park in one of those stupidly tiny city centre car parks tonight. Looking at it it looked an easy job. I have slid the first one along to the middle where the gap widens and they should just lift out......but NO.....any ideas:confused:

Are you driving a skoda fabia with thule roof bars fitted?

Skoda......i think not nor a freelander. I have a Disco 3 series. Taking them off so I can get in height wise. Probaby due to the fact I've not had my weetabix this morning :)

Neither are we ;) that's why I mentioned a Skoda. I notice you have found the introduce yourself section so I shall pop over there and say hello :D

oops soz yes you're right. I guess in my mind the way I look at it is that I'm posting on a landrover site therefore I'm talking about a land rover. Introducing myself was next on my list which I have done briefly ;-) Just frustrated with the roof bars...... as Terry said probably clogged with muck
