Hi Guys, I haven't posted for a week or two as I have been busy doing othjer stuff so just a quick update.
I made the drivers side wing a couple of weeks ago and fitted it last weekend, Though I still have to make some brackets to fix it in place. It turned ok good, nice and strong. I didn't use vac bagging but will in the future once I have the hang of it. I have the left hand wing mold ready to go and just need a few extra materials to hand because I think I may run out with what I have now.
Also I have started on the engine cover which will be alluminium amd tig welded.
I wish I had an enthusiastic apprentice as there are lots of small jobs that need doing but every Landy guy I know has there own projects

Oh yes I saw you were back. After I get the engine cover done I will take the engine out and run all the pipes and wires, then once I know what I need I will pop over.

Thanks guys, I am planning to be entering the trial and comp at the 2015 National. I won the Team recovery there (Eastnor) in 86 with Drew Bowler and also won the comp but sadly that was the year the comp was cancelled due to one of the timing clock being wrong at the conclusion of the event.
It will be nice to go back there, such a nice site and local area. I won the Castrol Comp Safari there which was over the same course as the national with much the same fast guys entered. a small consolation :)
I won't be a front runner now (too old) but will enjoy it just as much, camping with Land Rover buddies and rivalry with other clubs, can't beat it.

It would be good to see you there, how about CCV and team recovery. Are you going to join P&D ? This is what the Team Rec trophy looks like, could be on your mantle. The damage on the front was from running into the back of a RR on the Comp.

RTV in the rangy but got a short chassis that I will build a new ccv around. Not quite to the standard of yours but pile of parts to a trialer.

Nothing wrong with that, The motor above I built on a RRC chassis and still has the RRC bulkhead in the original position, it even still has the dash.

Id like to do team recovery just need a team mate ;)

Yeah ill probably join P&D when shes finished, need to get a alrc pogbook though. How do I go about aquiring one ?

Tempted to build a deducated basic trialer I know where theres a few old series parked in a shed complete with cages ready to go trialing so might be worth an offer. One of my mates sold a tomcat just before I got back for not alot would have loved that :/

200 I'll be looking for a team recovery partner pending log booking however hauling fat ass up the hill isn't bad enough I don't think my 80 would haul your 90 up. Ideally need two suited motors really
